Case 39

Yesterday, I went to watch Case 39 alone. At first, from the trailer, I thought it was about a psychologically ill girl. However, it was not so.

This girl called Lily was being sent to the Children welfare society by the parents. The reason was that the parents found this girl to be very evil. She had inflicted something bad on them whenever they refused to listen to her. At first, Emily, the counselor, thought that it was child abuse. So when the parents wanted to kill the daughter by burning her alive, Emily stepped in. She saved Lily from the fiery fire but another frightening thing happened. In the beginning, Lily gained the sympathy of Emily. So Emily was taken in and began to take in Lily. Things started to turn into nightmare when one of the children whom Emily was counselling killed his parents. It puzzled Emily because this little boy loved his parents very much. Then Emily's boyfriend and close friend died. The cause of death - suicide. But Emily knew it was more than a coincidence after Emily's boyfriend died. So she tried to shake off Lily. But Lily did something to her in the lift that made her change her mind, at least for a moment. Emily knew that she could not do anything to harm Lily, so she approached Lily's parents. According to Lily's parents, Lily would not sleep but once she did, that was when she became powerless. Emily set a trap to burn her own house after she had given Lily sleeping pills. However, Lily knew this action and she survived the fire. Emily became so frightened that she decided to drive the car into the deep sea. There, she tried to trap Lily into the boot. Fortunately, Emily got away with Lily dead in the sea.

When I saw this movie, I found that James Cameron seemed to promote that there was such a thing as cursed child. I rebuke that in Jesus' name. No one is a cursed child. We are washed by the blood of Jesus. We must cut off any generation curses. I do not believe that anyone is borned cursed because of the day and month he is borned. After watching this movie, I really regretted it. The monster that Lily was seemed so much like Satan. Another movie which I believe I will not view is Avatar. It talked about fighting in a planet where human's DNA is used to create Avatar to help fight the war. It is sad that such movies are gaining access to us. When will we realize the dangers it brings us?
